My Wild Day of Action

To support the Government's Year of Green Action The Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and the Black Country are organising lots of Wild Action Days where you can get involved to make your neighbourhood a wildlife haven.

Join the team of experts and volunteers to sample practical conservation activities, make nature crafts or join our walks and talks. Everyone is welcome and no experience needed.

  • Mini-beast hunts and log piles 11.00-1.00
  • Guided Bird Identification walk 11.30am-1.00 not suitable for pushchairs, suitable for age 8+ though under 16s must be accompanied by an adult, booking essential - link to follow
  • Rivers and Wildlife Talk 11:30am | 2:00pm
  • Making pine cone bird feeders & Understanding birds and their beaks 1.30pm-3.00
  • Making nest boxes to put up at the reserve 1.30pm-3.00

Age: Suitable for Families, Adults, Experts, Beginners

Children to be accompanied by an adult
